Food is consistently very good. Comparable to NYC Chinese restaurants. TG, because there is a dearth of restaurants in this town. At least there is always yummy Hunan House!
First time there, and I found the ribs the best by far in the county! They were meaty & perfectly cooked without too much sauce. Will try other dishes ASAP.
If you are looking for a good Chinese restaurant this is the place. Food was first class Cantonese dishes. Three of us enjoyed different dishes which were all too large to finish.......but they were really great for lunch the next day. Our waiter was pleasant, efficient and made Moo Shu pancakes in seconds. Good local restaurant. We will return

If you love cornbread-- please try the "arepa de choclo"-- it is absolute of the best I've had La arepa de choclo es spectacular y grandísima. The bandeja paisa and breaded chicken are also delicious It's typically colombian ambiance-- and decor.. love it
After taking a long break from this restaurant due to my dissatisfaction with the food, we've recently been ordering take-out as well as dined in last week. The restaurant was quite full for a Wednesday evening - nice to see things returning to normal. Perhaps there is a new chef, because I must say we were happy with our food each time. The portions are generous, the lunch specials are cheap, and take-out is always quick and efficient. We've been sticking to to a few dishes.. Chicken in Garlic Sauce, Eggplant in Garlic Sauce, and Sweet and Sour Chicken. We have not been disappointed. This time we tried some new entrees, the Phoenix and Dragon as well as the Chicken with Snow Peas Pods. Both were really good. The Lunch Specials include an egg roll, fried wontons and a fortune cookie. The lunch specials here are probably one of the best in the area in regards to price and quantity. I was able to share one lunch special, which provided plenty of food for the two of us. And the specials are offered all week; not just Monday through Friday like most places. As other restaurants, the prices have gone up. However, Hunan House offers quick, decent Chinese take out food.
